Dirty Politics in Miami-Dade has been exposed

MIAMI, Florida – Last Wednesday, August 10, the Kendall Federation of Homeowner Association hosted a candidate forum to address the community. Similarly to other events, not all candidates attended this important meeting, showing with their actions that they do not care about the community’s opinion.

Candidate for Miami-Dade Commissioner in District 10, Martha Bueno was present, and she took the opportunity to prove, once again, how special interests can have an important influence on politicians.

Bueno showed, visually, of all the money taken by her adversary, representative Anthony Rodriguez. She pointed out that “Waldo” Rodriguez has taken over $1 million for a position that only pays $6.000 annually, questioning what the cost of these expensive favors really are.

It is important that voters note that these donations, in great part, have come from companies associated with transportation, real estate, and other areas that want to defend their particular agendas in the county, regardless of how these efforts can affect the resident’s interests.

This is why candidate Bueno wants to stop the establishment from continuing occupying these positions and asks voters for a chance to represent them and show them that politics can be done in a clean and innovative way.
