Students For Liberty rejects censorship in Brazil

Recently, the Brazilian Superior Electoral Court issued an order in which it forbade the media outlet, Brasil Paralelo, from releasing an episode on their political series “Parallel Investigation.”

The judiciary branch decided to not allow it to go public before the election period ends.

As the biggest student pro-liberty organization in the world, Students For Liberty (SFL) is a strong advocate for freedom of speech regardless of ideologies and electoral times. We believe this decision to censor media outlets is a direct violation of freedom of speech.

Given this, SFL decided to join the protests that were held yesterday (10/25/2022) nationwide, and had one of our coordinators lead the movement in the city of Sao Paulo, where 1000 attendees were present.

Students For Liberty believes that authorities should not limit human rights, but rather protect them against any threats they face.

SFL will continue speaking about these topics, urging governments to Stop Stealing Our Future.

About Students For Liberty

Students For Liberty (SFL) is a rapidly growing network of pro-liberty students from all over the world. Our mission is to educate, develop, and empower the next generation of leaders of liberty and we pride ourselves as the largest pro-liberty student organization in the world. We accomplish this through a strategy of empowerment, identifying the top student leaders and training them to be agents of change in their communities.

About Stop Stealing Our Future

Stop Stealing our Future is a campaign launched by a group of compromised young leaders who specialize in different areas that are working hard to protect your rights from authoritarian efforts.

On behalf of Students for Liberty,
